Job Location
Al-Khubar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Job Objectives
  • Review the integrity of the documentation of financial transactions;
  • Prepare all revenue invoices;  
  • Perform accounting recording of such transactions as per the approved chart of accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards; and
  • Prepare the monthly reconciliation of bank account statements against the accounting records and carry out all adjustments associated therewith.


Job Requirements
1-   Qualification
        B.Sc. in Commerce, Major: accounting.
 
2-   Experience
       3- 5 years of experience in accounting
 
3-   Competences
        3.1  Technical Skills
                (The job specific knowledge and techniques required to perform an organizational role)
  • English and Arabic Languages – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English and Arabic languages including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Computers and Electronics – Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programs
  • IFRS – Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Reporting – Developing and writing reports.




    3.2  Human Skills
              (The ability to understand, alter, lead and control the behavior of other individuals and groups)
  • Conduct basic mental calculations
  • Reading Comprehension – Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
  • Speaking – Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Time Management – Managing one's own time and the time of others.
  • Active Listening – Paying full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Teamwork

4-  Abilities
      Ability to perform and complete more than one task at the same time.


Job Roles
  1. Review the integrity of all financial transactions related to capital expenditures, revenues and general expenses from perspective of required specification, benefit to the Company, logic of prices, delivery of services from vendors; determine terms of payment and make payments related thereto;
  2. Prepare all revenue invoices resulting from contracts;  
  3. Prepare accounting entries as per the approved chart of accounts; and
  4. Prepare applications for issuance of bank guarantees and follow up the issuance thereof.


Monthly Responsibilities
  1. Audit the monthly payroll and overtime sheets received from HR Unit;
  2. Write cheques of monthly fixed general expenses such as rentals;
  3. Prepare the monthly statement of accounts receivable and provide Administration Unit with the same to follow up collections;
  4. Prepare the monthly statement of accounts payable and write cheques of monthly fixed payables; and
  5. Prepare the monthly reconciliation of bank account statements against accounting books and carry out required adjustments, if any.


Annual Responsibilities
Provide the necessary support as required by the supervisor.
