Project Planner – Scheduler at Siemens

Job Description

The Position holder assists the Project Managers in all project scheduling aspects, including creation, update and maintenance of Project Time Schedule. Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful team engagement and scope completion within contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Creation and coordination of overall schedules for international large-scale projects with the integration of complex subprojects across all project phases.
Manage schedule, cost, and earned value data via interaction with project team members.
Provide support for invoicing to clients and from subcontractors and vendors.
Working close to the project team, sequence project activities to ensure that project progress is on schedule.
Analyze schedules for potential impacts and advise Project Manager of potential problems, work interference or schedule difficulties and assist in finding the most appropriated solution.
Compose and/or edit letters, all communication and reports as assigned.
Work on claim presentation and TIAs (Time impact analysis) for schedules.
Provide required information, reports, documentation, and schedules for Change Order creation and submission.
Prepare a monthly Project Progress Report reflecting current status versus previous scenario.
Make follow-up and status control of the documentation delivered to the client.
