Hindawi Publishing Corporation is now hiring "IT Service Desk" to provide first-line support for the organization’s computers and network in order to ensure the effectiveness of computer system services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support to end-users regarding computer hardware, software, network, and technical issues.
- Escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support to handle them properly.
- Install and configure selected software and hardware products.
- Maintain printer queues by evaluating the overall printing process to maintain its efficiency.
- Resolve technical problems related to Local Area Networks (LAN).
- Recommend changes in software and hardware to improve computer capabilities
- Troubleshoot system and network issues as well as diagnose and solve the software/hardware errors
- Document and visualize the network diagram.
Qualification:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science field or any relevant study
- 1 year of related experience
- CompTIA N+, CompTIA A+, CCNA and MCSA Certifications are preferred
- Knowledge of Windows Operating System, Hard Desk - --- Management tools, Anti-Spyware, Microsoft Office, Remote Control Software, LAN and Ethernet Cabling
