Business Continuity Manager

  • Responsible for reviewing IT risks related to security awareness, logical and physical controls, change management controls, Project management controls, applications controls, general controls and IT operations.
  • Responsible for follow up on IT audit findings & Information security gaps till closure.
  • The BCP Head position is very critical to the overall Business Continuity program being assessed to ensure consistency within the bank. The job is very important in normal situations and in the current circumstances in our region to protect the bank from any financial loss resulting of any denial of access or denial of services
  • Leads the BCP & Disaster Recovery program and the enterprise's ability to respond to disasters and interruptions in an appropriate manner. Leads response and recovery activities during times of crisis, disasters and/or other emergencies. Assists in the development, customization, maintenance and planning of the enterprise DR Plans, BIA's, Risk Assessments, and Application and Technical Strategies.
  • Oversees and manages daily BCP & Disaster Recovery activities to ensure the BCP Program is meeting objectives. Works closely with the Business, Application and Technology teams to understand goals and objectives, clarify requests and requirements.
  • Oversees and takes the lead on the development, documentation and maintenance of BCP plans, BCP status, and reporting and resolution of issues and risks.
  • Manages complex recovery programs and acts as the subject matter expert on the implementation and capabilities of the existing recovery technology within the bank and on recovery issues. Develops and fosters strategic relationships and establishes management and executive partnerships. Facilitates the interaction between the business and technology groups.
  • Oversees the development, implementations and documentation of recovery standards, procedures, processes, guideline and policies. Ensures requirements and deliverables are clearly defined.
  • Work with departmental managers across the organization to ensure adequate resourcing is available to forward the program's objectives
  • Chair meetings and providing regular reports and program status to senior management as required.
  • Identify any budgetary expenditure related to the program.
  • Set / Review the applied controls for ADIB core systems and applications, Analyse business requirements and system functionalities via security rules and controls.
  • Ensure proper and timely rectification of IT audit findings and control gaps.
  • Provide valuable recommendations to the IT units to guide them in mitigating and controlling deficiencies and gaps.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in computer engineering or accounting or similar field and related Professional
  • Minimum of 8 years of IT experience with minimum of 3 years as a managerial level.
