Sales Account Representative
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
Develop and
maintain good working relationships with every customer at all levels and tend
to their requirements and requests efficiently and diligently ensuring that
customers receive the highest level of customer service from all areas of the
organisation
Support the West Africa sales strategy in line with overall strategy,
organizational structure, and processes in line with given frames, internal and
external requirements in West Africa.
Communicate local sales strategies to Africa management, Ops team and support
the sales plan development to achieve overall strategies
Manage the West Africa Sales function to ensure best practices are followed,
costs are controlled, the team maximizes revenue generation and contribution to
the business’ operating profit and increases the value added to the company
Meet Africa sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements,
participating in the annual budget.
Understand and communicate our customers buying patterns/processes, providing
reactive and proactive customer support with clear, defined and documented
follow up plan to be executed
Communicate and regularly monitor progress of revenue targets to the West
Africa.
Promote development of new and existing business leads to Sales team obtaining
regular feedback and status reports
Maintain high level visibility of customer strategies across West Africa and
communicate changes.
Evaluate and improve sales and sales support structure and internal processes in
order to improve performance and team effectiveness
Support West Africa sales with more complex customer needs attending senior
management meetings where necessary
Ensure the regional teams effectively qualify opportunities, offering insight
into the sales process including conversion to order KPIs/metrics and value add
Maintain full understanding of existing competitive technology and market
pressures and trends, identifying areas for product development ensuring NOV is
at the forefront of the market
Promote intercompany collaboration and the communication of leads between
countries/regions
Travel as and when required
QUALIFICATIONS
Tertiary education in an Engineering and/or Business discipline (essential)
EXPERIENCE
Experience in Oil and gas field and high knowledge in drilling and knowledge in
instrumentation (essential)
Experience in a similar position (essential)
Working knowledge of the West Africa Water Industry and related Sales
environment (essential)
Working knowledge of Industrial processes and related Sales environment
(desirable)
