Communications Executive Opening in the Marketing Department

Purpose:            
 Assist, coordinate and contribute to the creation and delivery of communications material across social media platforms and the web across the region and in line with the brand’s identity and the firm’s strategy.
Responsibilities             
  1.      Contribute to creating engaging and effective social media content on key social channels, including news, thought leadership, CSR, new story opportunities, etc. - via visual content like GIFs, Still Art, videos, etc., and propose ways to promote new and exciting content to increase traffic and grow followers.
2.       Assist in the implementation of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Management (SEM) to improve traffic and performance.
3.       Coordinate the production of content and publications in their various formats for internal and external communication channels (e.g. press releases, talking points, articles, biographies, boilerplates, presentations, website, social media feeds, leaflets, staff portal, annual reports and newsletters).
4.         Research and identify new story opportunities and propose creative and engaging fresh ideas and unique daily feeds to the firm’s digital platforms.
5.  Assist in the production and development of videos, applications and blogs.
6.  Assist in handling the communication with all PR agencies and media outlets ensuring positive relationships, handling all their inquiries and planning all media events.
7.  Assist in recruiting and managing influencers.

Job Requirements         
1.   Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Journalism Mass Communication.
2. 0-2 years’ experience in a similar position.
3. Knowledge of SEO/SEM guidelines, analysis, tracking/reporting tools, and ranking factors.
4. Good understanding of current digital marketing concepts and best practice.
5. Creative, dynamic and innovative.
6. Multi-cultural sensitivity.
7. Excellent command of Arabic and English.
8. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
9.  Able to build partnerships and work well in teams.
10. Can identify problems and refer/escalate complex issues to a higher level.
11. Pay attention to details and ensure deliverables are always of a high quality.
12.  Multi-tasker, with the ability to meet changing deadlines.
13.  Manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritize tasks and workload.
