Novo Nordisk Egypt belongs to International Operations Regional Office Africa & Gulf (IO-BAAG), with more than 150 employees who are working to improve the lives of people with diabetes, haemophilia and growth disorders.
We have a challenging opening for the position of FLIT Director, based in Cairo, Egypt. As a FLIT Director, you will be a member of the Management Team and the head of Finance, Logistics and Information Technology department (FLIT) and you will report to the VP and General Manager.
About the Department
FLIT is the department responsible for the day to day activities of the affiliate, including, financial transactions, financial planning and reporting, management of the company’s cash flow and assets, all IT activities including administration of the company’s IT infrastructure, software and business IT applications, as well as local implementation of all global IT projects, and all logistics details.
The Job
You will be responsible to implement corporate finance strategies, procedures, guidelines and systems in line with affiliate business objectives, manage NN Egypt departments budgets and accountings, establish and develop policies related to accounting and planning, maintain NN Egypt G/L accounts, contribute to the business planning process and consolidate business plan to ensure compatibility with corporate financial objectives. You will also manage the IT projects progress and assure timely deliverables, in addition that you will assure smooth technical operation in NN Egypt office.
Last but not least you will liaise between Novo Nordisk and its agents\\distributors and assure the implementation of a smooth and time efficient logistics processes.

Qualifications
A high degree in accounting or any relevant field is required with 10+ years of finance experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. We expect that you are a proven leader with a track record of successfully executing complex projects/initiatives with demonstrated people management skills and can successfully direct a large team with diversified functions. You have demonstrated strategic thinking and decision making capabilities and strong analytical skills. You should also be a good communicator with a high energy level and able to collaborate effectively with external and internal key stakeholders.
