Logistics Manager

Logistics Manager
Location : 10th of Ramadan City
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and strategies for Logistics activities and ensuring they are in compliance with the local regulation.
- Monitor the performance of shipping and clearance companies and work on classifying and approving them
- Developing shipping and distribution plans as per sales orders, incoming shipment and relevant priorities and choosing optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment and frequency.
- Analyze all aspects of logistics to determine the most cost-effective means of transporting products.
- Prepare and follow up customs duty documentation requirements, such as permissions and exemptions
- Follow up of reimbursement of Custom deposits where appropriate.
- Maintain tracking system for all shipments and filing system for all documents. Provide timely feedback to customers on the progress of logistics activities and inform colleagues of any delays.
Qualifications :
- BA in Commerce or Business Administration.
- Min. of 10 – 15 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment ,at least 8 years in same position
