SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Your responsibilities
Support front
end sales personnel to achieve the order received commitments. Define the most
suitable technology and product type(s) to be used based on application
characteristics.
Ensure the preparation of technical and financial aspects of the offer,
indicating prices and trading conditions.
Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information
and information provided by sales organization.
Analyze and evaluate specific technical issues and associated risks. Identify
potential vendor for the equipment and materials required in the project and
evaluating supplier offers for alignment with the specifications. Collaborate
with the supply chain management to coordinate requests of subcontractors.
Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicating to the customer/sales
organization. Provide information to the risk review process in accordance with
ABB policy and sometimes participating in the risk review assessment.
Ensure the needed technical support to the sales managers during the technical
meeting with the customers. Collect documentation regarding the offer/order and
recording assumptions and decisions taken during the development of
supply/order.

Your background
Bachelor’s
degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
Product knowledge of ABB or other automation and electrical products. Tendering
or design experience is a must.
Coordination skills within a multinational company. Experience coordinating and
cooperating with colleagues from multiple countries and with multicultural
backgrounds.
Excellent knowledge & understanding of electrical systems and understanding of
electrical process control and power systems in general.
Excellent oral and written communication in both English and Arabic are
mandatory. French is a plus.
