Information Security Senior Engineer
Main Purpose:
Monitor security systems on a regular basis. Examine current security controls and suggest new controls to minimize future incidents. Act proactively to prevent potential breaches. Work closely with the IT team in order to tighten security controls and prevent data loss. Participate in conducting information security awareness and training programs for policies, procedures, and best practices.
Responsibilities:
1- Analyze, inspect, correlate, and respond to security events from security monitoring systems such as DLP, SIEM, and other security data sources. 2 – Make immediate adjustments to information security systems in order to contain any security breach and stop future violations. 3- Suggest security controls, configurations, policies, procedures, and third party tools to assist in the identification, detection, prevention, and analysis of security threats. 4- Investigate security breaches and take the appropriate corrective and preventive actions. 5- Monitor information security reports to determine suggested policy and configuration updates for reducing false positives, and apply mandatory and recommended updates to information security systems. 6- Monitor and act on the illegal movements or access of business files in order to prevent unauthorized disclosure of business files. 7- Review and validate current access privileges against security logs and access requests. Alert the access management team for immediate verification and correction. 8- Maintain a database of security incidents with all details, actions, and lessons learned. 9- Participate in the Information Security Policy and the Information Security Management process updates. 10- Work closely with system admins, network admins, application support, and technical support teams in securing business files and tightening security controls. 11- Conduct periodic network scans using monitoring systems to find any vulnerability and mitigate information security breaches. 12- Engage and support the incident’s HR and legal investigation, and the response process for containment of security incidents. 13- Conduct organization-wide in-depth and general awareness sessions for information security standards, policies, processes, and best practices. Job Requirements: Education: - Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information security or related education.
Experience:
- 1- 3-5 years of experience in a similar field.
2- Good knowledge of security monitoring tools is a plus.
3- Good knowledge of security certifications (CISM, CISA, CISSP, etc.) is a plus. Languages: - Excellent command of English language (Speaking, reading and writing).

Working Conditions: Working Days: 5 Days/week [Sunday Till Thursday] Days Off: Two days/Week [Friday and Saturday] Working Hours: 7:30am till 4:00pm Working Environment: 10% outdoors and 90% standard office work
