Sales Support Specialist
Your responsibilities
Support front
end sales personnel to achieve the order received commitments. Define the most
suitable technology and product types to be used based on application
characteristics. Configure in accordance with the bid commercial needs and
requested quality metrics.
Ensure the preparation of technical and financial aspects of the offer,
indicating prices and trading conditions.
Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information
and information provided by sales organization.
Analyze and evaluate specific technical issues and associated risks. Identify
potential vendors for the equipment and materials required in the project and
evaluate supplier offers for alignment with the specifications.
Collaborate with the supply chain management to coordinate requests of
subcontractors. Define cost for the proposed solution and communicating to the
customer or sales organization.
Provide information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and
sometimes participating in the risk review assessment.
Ensure the needed technical support to the sales managers during the technical
meeting with the customers. Collect documentation regarding the offer/order and
recording assumptions and decisions taken during the development of
supply/order.

Your background
Should have
qualification in Bachelor or Masters in Automation / Electrical Engineering
background.
Must have 1 - 3 years of experience in electrical process control design and
engineering functions executing large projects.
Product knowledge of ABB /other automation and electrical products.
Excellent knowledge & understanding of electrical systems and understanding of
electrical process control and power systems in general.
Coordination skills within a multinational company. Experience coordinating and
cooperating with colleagues from multiple countries and with multicultural
backgrounds.
Multi priority & multi-tasking, analytical approach. Problem solving, conflict
resolution, eye for details and high customer orientation.
Capability to drive the electrical and control design engineering specification
of the project independently.
Should have good Communications & presentation skills. Excellent level of
English required.
