Senior Telecoms Engineer
Job Purpose
Enhancing and developing Telecoms services capabilities and offerings through Planning, implementation, design, configuration, and administration of Telecoms data and voice in addition to related core infrastructure services in the Bank on a 24/7 basis.
Key
Accountabilities
Configure, evaluate, recommend and introduce Telecoms and Network solutions as
required.
Implement Telecoms data and voice strategy in support of the Bank’s mission and
core objectives.
Administer the Telecoms data & voice functions in support of IT services related
to the operations, performance and availability across the Bank.
Accountable for Telecoms devices proper backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Designs and implements Telecoms architectures (e.g. routing, switching, voice,
unified communication, security).
Ensure that Telecoms architecture & polices adhered with security standards and
polices.
Coordinates and manage Telecoms devices software updates and other policies
while adhering to company-wide policies.
Coordinates in Data Center Infrastructure, design, cabling & work closely with
related facilities teams.
Education
Diploma Degree or Equivalent Certification/Experience
Experience
• 5-8 years of
IT Experience.
• Experience analyzing information and driving resolution. .
• Experience interpreting and supporting IT and Business Processes.
• Knowledge in Telecoms data and voice.
