Key Client Manager
Key responsibilities
• Creating a plan and strategy to grow
the Supply Chain customer base and footprint within Egypt, Expectation here is:
Identify, qualify, consult, and develop value propositions enabling the sale of
large scale supply chain solutions within our growth Verticals , Develop strong
Account Plans together with internal stakeholders that lead to the predefined
size of business for accounts under scope and Negotiate global tenders as well
as other business opportunities
• As part of the sales process, will be responsible for creating a pipeline and
managing the entire opportunity management process ensuring we have sufficient
breadth and depth to meet the overall ambitious growth objectives over the next
5 years. Pre & Post Sales Responsibilities include: Ensure that solutions are
fully scoped with robust pre- and post-sales engagement and commitment from
solutions engineering, pricing and operational teams and to Leverage our CRM
tool Salesforce by building and managing your sales pipeline
• Would be required to directly engage with customers from the Identification
stage until closure of the opportunity along with regular oversight of
customers’ needs and whether we are providing them with the best solution.
• Continuously review the market for new business opportunities and activities
and generate profitable business prepositions with extra focus on Technology/
FMCG/ Retail & Life Style verticals
• Position Sealand, as the customers advisor of choice
We are looking for
• Proven 7+ years in Logistics sales in
Egypt, within the global logistics industry with a focus on end to end logistics
solutions. A solid understanding of logistics and forwarding products,
solutions, pricing and terminology
• Strong understanding of the local supply chain landscape in Egypt, Understands
the competitive landscape and can adjust approaches to customer as a result.
Proven track record of targeting, pursuing and winning large opportunities
through both personal and collaborative selling efforts, in tendered and
non-tendered environments
• Proven track record of targeting, pursuing and winning large opportunities,
through both personal and collaborative selling efforts
• People with solution selling capability
• Excellent command of English & Arabic
• Strong presence and ability to communicate / present / consult with ‘C’ level
decision makers
• Strong continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills
• Self motivated, independent starter who is also a good team player
Technical Skills:
• Solid understanding of all freight
forwarding basic activities (Ocean, Air, LCL, Custom clearance & Intermodal)
• Sound understanding of the Supply chain products and operations
• Experience in supply chain management
• Experience in 4PL and Control tower products
• Experience in warehousing and distribution
• Experience in last mile delivery is a plus
• Proximity to Technology aspect and latest supply chain modules and trends
