Planning and Reporting Analyst

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role is part of the Finance team and will be mainly responsible for
assisting & supporting the Planning and Reporting executive in different
accountabilities.
Reports to: Planning and Reporting executive
Reporting Level: Individual Contributor
Geographic Scope: Egypt
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Produce,
analyze and explain all management reporting on Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and P&L
including monthly explanation of all variances to budget, previous forecasts and
prior year at the agreed timeliness.
Budgeting, tracking, and controlling of overheads for all the functions as well
as the GBIN and GBCR accounts.
Produce, analyze and explain all financial information in the Egypt Company Plan
and produce all financial sections and all narratives for it.
Comment on the latest forecast (volume & financials) variances to Budget, prior
forecast and SPLY, this includes (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow )
Creating new models and develop the Management Accounting existed models in
order to increase the MIS efficiency.
Respond to ad-hoc queries from Management and the Group.
Ensuring that BPC is updated in a timely manner for Company plans and MOEPs and
for verifying that uploaded forecasts conform to previously communicated
expectations.
Ability to present the financials to management in processional way.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor's
degree in a relevant discipline i.e. accounting, financial management,
economics, numerical, or other related disciplines.
Excellent Knowledge on analyzing, planning, and reporting.
1-3 years of experience in a related area, experience in FMCG will be a plus
Demonstrable organization and planning skills.
SAP operating skills is a plus.
Excellent computer skills especially in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to communicate and function in a culturally diverse, change-oriented
setting and well organized.
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
