Operational Standards & Procedures Senior Officer
Job Purpose
· Establishing,
Developing policies & Procedures for operations functions, products / services
to ensure full compliance with CBE and AWBE policies & regulations, Business
requirements, applied systems capabilities, associated risks and relative
controls.
· Conducting regular reviews of end to end processes, identify areas of
continuous improvement to ensure operational effectiveness, sufficient control
and risk mitigation are in place.
· Leading system changes to ensure compliance with the required outcomes /
controls as per regulatory and AWB requirements.
· Reviewing Bank processes to provide operations requirement for system
enhancement to automate manual processes and / or build in control.
· Preparing and maintaining documentation including terms & conditions and forms
to ensure compliance to AWB and regulatory requirements.
· Exploring and initiating the improvement ideas to optimize the productivity
and enhance the customer experience.
· Tracking all new processes to ensure that they are incorporated in related
manuals.
Knowledge, Expertise and Experience
· Bachelor’s
degree.
· Deep knowledge of operational risk and compliance requirements and standards
applicable to the relevant processes and procedures.
· Proper understanding of banking products and relative features.
· Ability to scope documentation projects, including determining level of effort
required, projected content and target dates.
· Auditing Skills to better help in the gap analysis, the review of policies and
procedures and amending the procedure manuals according to audit recommendations
/ observations.
· 2-4 Years of Banking Experience, preferably in different bank areas.
