Reservoir Engineer
In this role You will:
Maintain an
up-to-date reservoir performance understanding of producing PhPC fields (Atoll,
QTS & REB).
Lead Integration of production history, surveillance data, and new well
performance to develop understanding of the subsurface elements of PhPC fields.
Participate in the identification & evaluation of development opportunities to
progress resource & support reserves replacement.
Influence partners and government regulators to align on BP strategies and
business plans. Identify range of subsurface uncertainties, present and
communicate subsurface risks, opportunities to support business objectives.
Support PhPC Base Management Team to deliver safe and effective management of
PhPC well stock to ensure safe operating envelop.
Provide effective reservoir management to support delivery of promised forecast
and key activities and to maximize recovery from existing mature fields.
Integrate with exploration team to identify and mature resource progression
hopper and support new well delivery process and new well planning activates.
Provide short and long-term business planning of production and resources
progression, update remaining reserves through planned resource reviews
according to BP DRM guidelines and polices.
Coordinate multidisciplinary evaluations of new options including profile
prediction, scheduling and budgeting, economic screening to support FM.
Provide periodic long-term production forecast to support region’s ADP,
appraisal table and QPF cycle.
Lead assurance activity to test appropriate levers, potential and risks have
been explored for each CVP stage gate.
Lead comprehensive studies to identify valid alternative interpretations of the
reservoir/field performance as basis for surveillance planning and risk
management, developing or altering depletion plan and wellbore utilization plans
as required.
Plan and design dynamic reservoir surveillance and well test with application of
PTA tools, build and maintain life of field surveillance strategy.
Committed to embed knowledge sharing and experience transfer in the PhPC
subsurface team to develop PhPC national staff and to share best practice in BP
subsurface forums and CoP’s.
Promote agile practices in the JV structure and keep connected to BP functions.
We have the following requirements:
Egyptian
nationality
Native Arabic & fluent in English language skills
Minimum of Bachelor’s of Science degree in petroleum or reservoir engineering
Minimum of13 years industry experience in reservoir engineering. Working on Gas
Reservoir management, classical reservoir engineering techniques, PTA, system
modeling, production database, and numerical simulation is preferred
Knowledge of Nile Delta basin, HPHT reservoirs, different reservoir fluid
properties and Analysis
Great team player with solid time management skills
understand agile work practices
Willingness to visit well sites occasionally
