Quality Control Inspector (Cairo)
Job Summary
Perform
inspections on Rig floor Equipment components.
Perform source inspections at facilities.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
Review inspection records received for compliance.
Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) for nonconforming parts.
Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:
Day to day
inspection and reporting activities
Work in accordance with Standard NOV QMS and HSE procedures & policies
Supporting work shop supervisor/Lead Engineers in monitoring ,identification and
traceability process
Assisting QC supervisor in day to day QC activities
Preparation of Quality plan/ITP as per client request
Perform dimensional inspection as per NOV Router /job card, Drawings and Specs
review and approval of final inspection documents
Review and approval of supplier inspection reports
Monitoring and maintaining the instrument /equipment calibration upto date
Register NCR, CAR/PAR entry into the NOV portal(PIMS/ Intelex)
Involvement in internal and External audits
Qualifications:
High
school(10+2) or Technical Diploma (3 to 5 Years) or equivalent combination of
education and experience
Graduates with 2 to 5 years in Machine shop QC inspection /NDE preferably Oil &
Gas industry
Experience:
Minimum 3 to 5
years Work experience in Oil & Gas
Minimum 2 years’ experience as Quality Inspector role
