I&I Category Lead Egypt
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Sets strategic
long term vision for Pfizer in the category; obtain stakeholder and leadership
buy-in and cross functional colleagues engagement
Develops strategies unique to the needs of the category to maximize the patient
impact and the revenue / income for Pfizer
Drives execution of strategies, campaigns, POAs, tactics, operational
opportunities and customer plans to maximize category growth and leadership
Optimizes the profitability of the category through proper portfolio management
and making active trade-off and resource allocation decisions
Ensure launch preparation and launch excellence for novel I&I assets through
development of launch strategy and market preparedness
Provide support and direction to the development of robust pricing, access and
reimbursement strategies, People and Leadership
Leads and coaches a high performing team and develop colleagues in line with the
Pfizer competency models
Reviews, designs and monitors the effectiveness of the Sales Team through KPIs
maximizing HCP engagement and impact
Collaboration and partnership with strategic partners internally and externally
to ensure services and objevtives of the category are met
Ensures high standards of compliance to norms, policies, and procedures and
instills a proactive compliance risk management culture throughout his/her
direct team and the x-functional organization
Role models Pfizer values, embed culture elements with visible and inspirational
leadership focused on compliance and integrity
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to the
Egypt Country Manager
Leads the sales and marketing team for the category
Engage and collaborates with the cross functional teams in and above the country
A key member of the country leadership team contributing to the overall success
of Pfizer in the Egyptian Market
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Medical /
Science background Bachelor degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
A minimum of 8 years of commercial experience, marketing background with proven
track record in leading marketing planning and execution is required, TA
background is a plus.
Able to demonstrate strong collaboration with internal cross functions such as
market Access, H&V/Pricing, Medical, KAMs, GCO, Regulatory, Supply, Finance, HR
and Legal
Leading high performing teams by winning in the right way
Business and financial acumen, ability to read and lead category P&L
Fluent written and spoken English and local language
