Business Development Advisor - Gas Growth
In this role, You will:
Manage gas
origination and deal delivery - identify, screen and capture new gas
opportunities working closely with Finance, and rest of the business.
Provide project specific business development expertise to business teams to
help evaluate, structure and develop commercial solutions to monetise or enhance
the value of gas.
Continuously challenge existing business models and seek innovative ways to
access and monetize advantaged gas.
Create negotiation strategy and participate in negotiations with third party and
government counterparties.
Develop boundaries for deal terms and secure required approvals from internal
authorities in advance of negotiations.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government and
competitors in the region.
Support gas strategy and hopper reviews with senior management to prioritise the
option set and focus resource.
What you will need to be successful:
Relevant
finance or technical degree; or evidence of equivalent experience.
Fluency in English and Arabic.
Egyptian nationality is required.
5+ years Commercial or Business Development experience in creating or managing
gas value chains.
Ability to think strategically and integrate with value, risk and uncertainty.
A team player with excellent influencing and collaboration skills that energise
people and deliver new insights.
A good understanding of the investment assurance and approval process and track
record of delivery.
The ability to deliver with attention to detail and to work on multiple projects
in parallel.
The ability to manage and distil large and complex data sets into simple
messages.
Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate confidently
externally and with senior managers.
