Petroleum Engineer
In this role You will:
Deliver
day-to-day field management activities of producing PhPC fields (Atoll, QTS &
REB) including well and system monitoring, surveillance, and testing using real
time data and digital tools.
Use system modeling and optimization toolkit to identify and progress short and
medium-term production improvement opportunities. Contribute to well and
reservoir reviews.
Manage sand production in PhPC wells; continuously monitor acoustic sand
detectors (ASD’s), identify, and interpret anomalous behavior and sanding
events, perform flux and erosion calculations to determine wells safe operating
envelope in accordance with bp practice and sand management guidelines.
Provide short term production forecasting for existing fields, create dashboards
to provide insights on production performance KPIs and support business
decisions.
Integrate with all disciplines to understand installed capacity of the different
chokes, issue monthly Installed production capacity (IPC) document to support
performance management.
Understand and document daily production deferrals using PhPC/BP production
deferral tracking tools and use Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to identify
reasons behind production short falls.
Coordinate well intervention activities from planning, to execution, and
post-job evaluation.
Identify and rigorously manage well risks in accordance with PhPC well integrity
policy. Understand and document the associated surveillance, barriers, and
mitigation measures.
