HSE Senior Engineer
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure SMS
(Safety Management System) is implemented & communicated within the company.
Establish, update safety policy, procedures, instruction & checklists according
to company regulations & standards in cooperation with OHS Team.
Prepare Safety KPI’s progress on yearly basis with reference to previous years &
global KPI’s.
Update & monitor training matrix needs & annual training plan.
Ensure that ISO 14K, ISO 45K procedures are updated, implemented & documented.
Conduct technical audits to identify unsafe condition & set countermeasures.
Prepare ISP ( incident statics program) on monthly basis.
Ensure implementation of PTW, IC, SJA, tools box talk & other similar safety
tools.
Monitor PPE (personal protective equipment) stock & report consumption on
monthly basis.
Coordinate with OHS Team for preparing regular OHS reports.
Shall collect & prepare safety improvement progress on quarterly basis.
Conduct risk assessment with contractor & other related functions.
Prepare specific training material for shop floor staff.
Coordinate with OHS Team to standardize Safety visual aids inside shop floor.
Support OHS team to prepare MSDS standards sheet to be communicated with all
departments.
Communicate with 3rd parties & subcontractors to cascade safety instructions.
Carry out Induction & safety training for new comers, visitors…etc.
Relevant Experience & Background
3-5 Years’
experience in Health & Safety
Bachelor degree in Engineering / Science
Qualifications
Good knowledge
of local safety/environmental regulations.
ISO14k & ISO 45K internal Auditors
OSHA General Industry & Construction
Risk assessment /Fire Fighting / First aid / working at height
Document control / writing procedures & instructions
