Accounts Receivable Specialist
Key Accountabilities
Handle the
end-to-end receivables cycle for local customers.
Follow up with customers regarding balances, payments, and invoices.
Analyze orders requested by customers to decide whether to hold or release
inventory in accordance with their credit limits and exposures.
Manage portfolio, limit request origination, analysis and approval.
Prepare month-end, interim and ad-hoc reports.
Develop and cultivate relationships with peers and colleagues, participating in
special projects.
Foster relationships with senior staff, handling queries in a timely manner.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while
escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Finance, Business Administration, etc.) or
equivalent experience
Solid knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing applications
Minimum of two years of related work experience
Fluency in English and local language.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
finance operations with good expertise in order and trade settlement to cash
processes
Experience clearing open items on bank account reconciliations and maintaining
record to report data activities
Experience in financial analysis
Good understanding of incoterms and different payment methods
Experience developing and nurturing relationships with business partners,
responding to business contacts or customers directly to deliver accurate
processes
Keen sense of priorities
