Cash Management Officer
Main accountabilities:
Responsible for
the efficient and effective management of credit risk and drive all key related
collection and recovery activities with operational excellence.
Keep tracking of outstanding receivables and plan the course of action to
recover debts
Locate and contact debtors while build trust with debtors
Negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans
Handle customers' disputes and complaints regarding outstanding balances
Identify gaps in the system and recommend solutions and update account status
and database regularly
Coordinate timely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all
disputes/unpaid debts on customers’ accounts are resolved/paid
Recommends write-offs and adjustments to account when appropriate
Preparation of the documentation and initiation of the provisioning process
Comply with local legislation requirements when legal action is unavoidable
Processing and monitoring of special legal cases in collaboration with legal
Ensure full compliance with Global Downstream Credit Policy, Operational Credit
Manual, Financial Controls Framework, Group Records Management
Interfaces:
Debt Collection
and Recovery Advisor interfaces across relevant classes of business
Provide advice to external counterparties or customers where relevant. Customer
business and commercial knowledge, particularly with high risk/strategic
customers.
CBC, Customer operations and Internal Legal
What we need from You
Requires strong levels of communication skills and to maximize the commercial
opportunities.
Skill to assess industry and external market risks and support sales/business
(currency crisis, debt crisis, etc)
Ability to provide innovative and practical financing solution to support
business to grow profitably with knowledge of banking infrastructure.
