Production Engineering Specialist
Your responsibilities
Defining the working
phase sequence of a new production process in order to achieve the targeted
product cost and equipment investment budget. Ensuring appropriate production
methods, cycle-time, equipment performance and materials or components in
support of production targets
Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implementing
improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality and cost
requirements
Ensuring the production process complies with the project targets, approving the
design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final
tests with respect to the project
Supporting to production during the internal or external process or equipment
start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production
resources
Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost
reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria and
external provider choices
Your background
BS or MS in
Mechanical/Production or Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Industry Certification
5 years as a Manufacturing/Industrial/Process Engineer, with
shop floor background
Knowledge and exposure to SAP, Oracle, or equivalent ERP system
Statistical Process Control/Six Sigma
Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple tasks-Efficient time management
Good leadership capabilities with a team-oriented attitude
Written and verbal communication skills are essential
Experienced use of Microsoft Applications
Parametric (3D) CAD Knowledge / exposure
CAM Knowledge / exposure
